CMP DC Mizanur dies from Covid-19

A Deputy Commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police Detective Branch died of Covid-19 while being treated at Rajarbagh Central Police Hospital in the capital early yesterday.

Mizanur Rahman was admitted to the hospital on June 28.

He died at the incentive care unit unit of the hospital around 3:40am.

Five policemen of CMP died with coronavirus so far.

CMP Commissioner Mahabubor Rahman expressed deep shock at his death.

Mizanur joined Bangladesh Police as Assistant Superintendent of Police after passing the 22nd BCS exam. He left behind his wife and two boys.
