Man killed in Ctg clash over land dispute

A man was killed in a clash between two families over land dispute in Sandwip upazila of Chittagong yesterday.

Borhan Uddin, 45, of Bauria in Sandwip, was hit with a stick allegedly by his cousin Shahidullah, 55, Sandwip police Sub-inspector Sanjay Kumar Ghosh quoted locals as saying.

Borhan tried to calm the clash between the families of Shahidullah and Md Kabir, 45, he said, adding that Shaidullah and his family were on the run.
