Army recovers AK-47s in Rangamati

Army personnel recovered two AK-47 rifles, another assault rifle, five magazines, two pistols, and 16 bullets in Kainda area of Rangamati sadar upazila early yesterday.
Mohammad Reza-ul Karim Shammee, assistant director of Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR), confirmed the recovery of the arms and ammunition.
No one was arrested during the raid.
Sattyajit Barua, officer-in-charge of Rangamati Kotwali Police Station at 9:45pm said the arms were yet to be handed over to them.
