Australia Women triumph in WT20 final
Australia Women beat England Women by six wickets in the final of the World T20 at Mirpur in the capital this afternoon.
Meg Lanning's 44 off 30 balls led the Aussie women to their third consecutive World T20 title in the past four years after their bowlers restricted England to a sub-par total of 105 for 8 in 20 overs.
Sarah Coyte let the way for the Australians with 3 wickets for 16 runs from 4 overs.
She was well supported by Rene Farrell and Ellyse Perry, both of whom took two wickets each.
