ASP's wife 'commits suicide' in Gazipur

Wife of a police official allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in their Gazipur city residence at Rathkhola yesterday.
The deceased was Sufia Islam, 40, wife of Aminul Islam, assistant superintendent of police of Industrial Police in Ashulia.
SM Kamruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Joydevpur Police Station, said Sufia killed herself when Aminul left his house in the area for his office in the morning.
The cause behind the suicide could not be known immediately.
The body was sent to Gazipur Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
