Game of Thrones - Season 8 hype increases

After much anticipation, HBO's president Casey Bloys dropped a hint about when the final season of Game of Thrones will air. The president said Season 8 will land sometime in the first half of 2019.  While this does not offer much in the way of concrete information, it does mean that fans of the show have an exciting 2019 to look forward to.

The Season 7 Finale of Game of Thrones aired on August 27, 2017. After a year and a half, HBO is coming back with the next season.

There has been a lot to awe us over seven seasons of Game of Thrones, but we suspect that Season 8, in terms of its magnitude and battle scenes, showcases something that has never been done before.

The team of Game of Thrones wanted to give fans the best of what they had to offer. So, they did not rush through anything. HBO is further planning a prequel to Game of Thrones, whose story has been written by novelist George RR Martin.
