Theatre festival ends in Mymensingh

Bahurupi Natya Sangstha, a leading cultural group in Mymensingh organised a two-day theatre festival which concluded on Satruday at the Mymensingh Shilpakala Academy auditorium, marking the 43rd anniversary of the group. The artistes staged Rabindranath Tagore's musical drama Shap Mochan, which was directed by Manash Talukder. Another play Agunmukha written by Mannan Hira and directed by Shahadat Hossain Khan Hilu garnered much appreciation from the audience.

Mayor of Mymensingh Municipality, Ekramul Haque Titu inaugurated the festival as the chief guest, while Shahadat Hossain Khan Hilu, secretary of Bahurupi delivered the welcome speech.
