Nisho and Mehazabein in Anjan Aich's latest

With Durga Puja just a few days away, Banglavision is ringing in the festivities with a new TV play that the channel has recently produced. Helmed by noted director Anjan Aich, the play titled “Tomar Kotha Bolbo Kaake” features Afran Nisho and Mehazabein Chowdhury in the starring roles.

This will mark the first time the duo is working alongside the director, and shooting has commenced yesterday in the capital's Uttara. The director revealed that he had delayed filming deliberately to wait for the rains.

“I have always enjoyed working with Anjan Aich because he brings new perspectives with each narrative. He is meticulous in perfection, whether it be cinematography, the script, and the actor's work on screen, which is why his work is flawless every time. This also happens to be the first time I am teaming up with the director after three years,” added Nisho.

Actress Mehazabein also stated that she has returned to the director's set after a while. “The story is wonderful and compelling, and I am glad to be working with Anjan Aich again. The whole experience has been made even better with Nisho, whom I always enjoy working with.”

The director added that the play is a romantic drama, and the leading duo will appear as Asim and Ria. The play is slated to air on Banglavision on the last day of Durga Puja.
