Tashfee and The Attempted Band collaborate for ‘Rajkumari’
One of the most talented young singers in the music industry today, Tashfee has garnered praise and recognition over the years for her powerful range and hauntingly beautiful vocals. Recently she collaborated with the Attempted Band and launched a new music video titled Rajkumari. Written and tuned by Arafat Kazi, the music video was released under the banner of G Series.
"We recorded the song in March this year, we worked on this from the comforts of our home and it was a fantastic experience to work with the band," shares Tashfee. "It started when one day Arafat Kazi told me he had the perfect song for me and when he played it I instantly fell in love and we decided to go ahead with it."
Artist Nuzhat from Nuzart was behind the music video, which presents a fresh new theme, different animation techniques, and one of a kind production. "We had plans to shoot a proper music video, due to the COVID-19 situation, we had to cancel our plans," says Tashfee. "This is my first official collaboration with the Attempted Band, and I look forward to working on many collaborations in the future."
Tashfee received her initial share of recognition through the 'Wind of Change' programme on Gaan Bangla TV as a choir manager, and later on, went to make a name for herself as a promising young singer with numerous concerts and shows.
"I first heard Tashfee perform at Wind of Change, she blew me away with her vocal performance," expresses drummer of the band, Arafat Kazi. "When she agreed to sing a song with The Attempted Band we were over the moon, Imran and I wrote the tune back in the 90s. She did an amazing job with the song and playing with her made our dreams come true."
The song highlights a powerful and passionate woman who can achieve anything she sets her mind to and according to Arafat Kazi, Tashfee aptly shares the passion and power the woman portrays.
