Shajal's Independence Day special
Versatile actor Shajal has garnered a large fan base across the nation with his remarkable acting skills over the years. He will be seen in two separate tele-fictions this Independence Day. In Uttal March, directed by Rasheda Akter Lajuk, the actor portrays a member of a student organisation. It highlights the time period of a protest during 1971 and was shot at a Zamindar Bari in Kaliakair.
His other tele-fiction, titled Bhashkorjo, is directed by Kazi Saif. It revolves around a story based on the making of a short film about the Liberation War. However, when a razakar is assigned to portray a freedom fighter in the short film, Shajal's character becomes enraged and begins to protest.
In spirit of the Independence Day, Shajal expressed that he is delighted to have been a part of such ventures, which he considers to be a rare and seasonal opportunity. The actor has been rather busy shooting for his Eid tele-fictions. Last week he returned to Dhaka, after shooting for six tele-fictions in Nepal.
