Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio to star in Scorsese’s ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’
Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio are coming together for Martin Scorsese’s forthcoming film, Killers of the Flower Moon, an adaptation of David Grann’s 2017 non-fiction book of the same name. The book is based on the Osage murders in the 1920s, when several Native Americans of Osage were killed after oil deposits were discovered beneath their Oklahoma land.
This is the first time that De Niro and DiCaprio are collaborating on a full-length feature film of Scorsese, though they both starred in the director’s short film, The Audition.
De Niro has starred in many Scorsese films, including Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Good Fellas, Cape Fear and The Irishman, while DiCaprio has worked with the director on films like Gangs of New York,The Aviator and The Departed.
