Preston, Calombaris and Mehigan bid adieu to MasterChef Australia
After 11 long years of an amazing culinary journey, Matt Preston took to social media to bid farewell to MasterChef Australia, on behalf of the other judges, George Calombaris and Gary Mehigan.“We were really keen to continue but we were unable to agree to all terms for the new contract,” he wrote. Matt thanked the network for hosting a show of such caliber.
Through his emotional token of remembrance, he further spoke of the prominent personalities they met through the show, including the best of chefs and the TV industry specialists. He also stated the fact that having worked for so many years, all three of them have developed a lifelong bond that will last them far beyond the reality show.
Matt also thanked all the contestants and the people who were involved with the show. Furthermore, he wished the best to the new judges who will embark on a gastronomical journey of their own.
