"Locals in Pangsha calling me a teacher" - Mamunur Rashid

Noted thespian, director and playwright Mamunur Rashid is currently busy working on a new film, "Pataalghor," directed by Mithu. It will feature the National Film Award-winning actor in the role of a teacher.

The cast and crew is currently shooting in a school at the Pangsha upazila of Rajbari district. "The film presents a new idea and a wonderful storyline. I am feeling positive about it," shares Mamunur Rashid. "The local residents are referring to me as Pangsha's teacher. I am enjoying the experience here."

Mamunur Rashid recently worked on another film, "Paap Punno," directed by Giasuddin Selim, which is scheduled for release soon.

The thespian also spearheads Aranyak Natyadal. He recently wrote a new stage play for the troupe. He is also busy with the planning of their play, "Kohe Facebook."

"Theatre is my true passion, I cannot survive without working on stage," says the actor. "Shilpakala is opening soon. So, I will be busy with shows in no time."
