Kishwar secures place in top 4 of MasterChef Australia
Kishwar Chowdhury, a non-resident Bangladeshi who currently lives in Melbourne, has secured a place in the top four of MasterChef Australia season 13. The other contestants are Pete Camobell, Justin Narayan and Elise.
This 38-year old mother of two has managed to take Bangladeshi cuisine from her mom's dining table all the way to the MasterChef kitchen.
"I spent a lot of time in my home in Dhaka making dishes I would regularly eat in Melbourne and when I wanted a good deshi meal, I would go to my in-laws," Kishwar had said in a recent interview with The Daily Star. "When I cook Bengali food, I get a sense of pride."
The contestant has constantly impressed the judges with her impressive renditions of Bengali cuisine.
The rising star wishes to write a cookbook on Bangladeshi cuisine and aspires to become a professional in the culinary world.
