Kabir Suman collaborates with a Bangladeshi lyricist for the first time
For the very first time in his storied career, Kabir Suman has worked with a Bangladeshi lyricist. The eminent singer-songwriter has composed and lent his voice to Jachche Jibon, penned by Bangladeshi lyricist Enamul Kabir Sujan.
The song titled Jachchhe Jibon is of vintage genre which is arranged by popular musical arranger of West Bengal Dhruva Basu.
Lyricist Enamul Kabir Sujan is a member of Lyricists' Association of Bangladesh. Noted singers -- including the likes of Sabina Yasmin, Rathindra Nath Roy, Khalid (Chime) and Asif Akbar -- have lent their voices to the songs written by Sujan.
"Asif Akbar and Kabir Suman have recently worked with together, "shares Sujon. "Being close to me, Asif connected me to the noted artiste, and I am grateful for it." The lyricist mentioned that a music video was in the works for the song. "I am overwhelmed about being able to work with Kabir Suman, and the fact that he appreciated my work," he says.
Besides being a lyricist, Enamul Kabir Sujan is the owner of Rupkotha Music Productions and an IT entrepreneur.
