Jaya Ahsan to the rescue!
Jaya Ahsan is practicing social distancing by staying at home, as the nation copes with the coronavirus pandemic. She has been looking after her plants, spending time with her family, and trying to stay positive in these tough times.
Moreover, Jaya has been feeding stray dogs in and around her neighbourhood. Her brother, Adeet Maswood, posted pictures of the actor wearing a mask and gloves on the streets, on March 31. "My sister, Jaya Ahsan has been feeding 25 to 30 dogs for the past 5 days. Chicken and rice with water to drink is all they need to survive," he wrote in the caption.
She steps out of her house at a scheduled time daily with home-cooked meals for the dogs at Eskaton, Mogbazar and other nearby areas.
On the other hand, Jaya's latest Kolkata-based film, Robibaar, won the Best Director and Best Writing awards for Atanu Ghosh at the Critics' Choice Film Awards 2020 in India. The film will be available for streaming on Hoichoi from April 14, 2020.
In addition to that, the actor is gearing up for the releases of Nurul Alam Atiq's Payerar Shubaash and Mahmud Didar's Beauty Circus, two films based in Bangladesh.
