Javed Omar and Rawnak Hasan team up
Popular actor, playwright and director Rawnak Hasan has taken the initiative to make a 1971-yard-long flag for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in an Eid special tele-fiction. Along with the actor, former Bangladeshi cricketer Javed Omar Belim will be seen playing a prominent character in the tele-fiction titled, Baish Gauzer Bhalobasha, directed by Rezwan Hossain.
The show revolves around Akbar, a boy from a poor family, who used to play cricket and was a student in Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan. However, after his father’s demise, he quits the institution and looks for a job. Eventually, he becomes a taxi driver, but still dreams of Bangladesh winning the Cricket World Cup someday.
Rawnak plays Akbar, who believes that if he makes a 1971-yard-long flag of Bangladesh, then the country will win the World Cup 2019. He intends to hang the flag in one of the biggest multi-storied buildings in Bangladesh. Although Javed Omar Belim is a sportsman in real life, in the show, he plays a character who is not interested in cricket. However, things take a different turn when he meets Akbar and starts understanding his passion for cricket.
The tele-fiction also stars Mishu Chowdhury, Hafizur Rahman Suruj, Mahbuba Rezanoor and Mintu Sardar among others. Baish Gauzer Bhalobasha will be aired on the day before Eid-ul-Fitr on Channel i at 7:50 pm.
