‘Iti, Tomari Dhaka’ coming to Netflix
Bangladesh’s first anthology film, Iti, Tomari Dhaka, produced by Impress Telefilm, is set to be included in the library of Netflix. The news was confirmed by the film’s creative producer, Abu Shahed Emon. “Considering the fact that Netflix has a very rigid quality control, it is a great achievement for us,” he says. Emon believes that the film, which released in Bangladesh on November 15, has great potential to reach the movie-going audience worldwide. “The film is somewhat niche, and I feel like the audience of Netflix will receive it well,” he adds.
Iti, Tomari Dhaka has received positive responses from film festivals all over the world, including Kolhapur International Film Festival, Chennai International Film Festival, Jogja NETPAC Asian Film Festival in Indonesia, Third Eye Asian International Film Festival in Mumbai, Aurangabad International Film Festival, Independent Film Festival of Chennai, and the Asian Film Festival, Pune.
