Hamlet Tushar’s untimely death shocks the music industry
Hamlet Tushar Gomes was not only an accomplished keyboardist, but also an amazing human being according to the musicians who were astonished by his sudden demise on Sunday. It is presumed to be due to a cardiac arrest. Heartfelt tributes started pouring in on social media as soon as the news spread. Bappa Mazumder, who had worked with the veteran musician on multiple occasions, told The Daily Star that he was utterly shocked at the unfortunate turn of events - “I was distraught when I heard the news. I still cannot accept it, to be honest.” Tushar had performed all around the country with many notable musicians of Bangladesh. He was also a well-known session artist, who had his work featured in many hit songs during the last decade. He had also played with popular band Souls for a short period.

May the Almighty keep him in peace in the afterlife.”
