Film adaptation of Anisul Hoque’s ‘Hridita’ sets off

The shooting of "Hridita", based on eminent writer Anisul Hoque's novel of the same name, started on November 10, 2020, at Uttara. The film, starring A B M Sumon and Puja Cherry in the lead roles, is directed by Ispahani-Arif Jahan.

"When the directors brought the script to me, I was genuinely impressed. I believe that they will treat my story with respect and sincerity," shares Anisul Hoque. "The cast and crew have had multiple conversations with me, regarding the costumes, the characters and other elements. This is a heart-touching story, and I hope cinemagoers will appreciate the film."

The first schedule of the film will wrap up by November 15, while the second schedule will start from December 15.
The mahurat of the film was held on November 9 at BFDC, in the presence of the cast and crew. President of Bangladesh Film Directors' Association Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar and President of the Film Producer-Distributor Association Khorshed Alam Khosru, among others, were also present.
