Farhana Islam Teresa’s first solo art exhibition concludes today
A Thousand Shades by Teresa is the first solo exhibition by Farhana Islam Teresa, a contemporary artist. The exhibition was inaugurated on November 29, with chief guest Michael Foley, CEO of Grameenphone, Nazia Andaleeb Preema, Visual Artist and Founder of Bangladesh Creative Forum, Yasir Azman, Deputy CEO and CMO of Grameenphone and renowned artist Monirul Islam, at Dhaka Gallery, Banani.
Farhana Islam Teresa, through her colourful paintings and fearless expressions, emotes joy and liveliness through her work. Being the granddaughter of Potua Quamrul Hassan, art runs in her blood. Her grandmother, Sakina Rahman was chief of the Dolls Department at BISCIC. Farhana currently works in Grameenphone as Head of Innovation, leading a team of creative modern-day innovators. “I wish Teresa great success on her first solo exhibition,” said Nazia Andaleeb Preema, “I hope she continues with her passion and ventures more and more into the world of creativity.”
Teresa’s joyful presence and free spirit can be felt through her strokes. She has done experiments on multiple subjects and colours, which enchanted viewers of Bangladesh and beyond.
The exhibition is open for all till today, from 3 pm to 8 pm.
