D A Tayeb to run as General Secretary for Bangladesh Cholochitro Shilpi Samiti

D A Tayeb has been acting in tele-fictions and films for a long time. Mahia Mahi starrer Ondhokar Jogot was his last released film. The actor is currently busy with the Bangladesh Cholochitro Shilpi Samiti Elections 2019, as he will run as the General Secretary for the first time, from Moushumi’s panel. The candidates for other positions are yet to be declared.

As notified earlier, the election will be held on October 18, while the schedule will be declared soon. The biennial conference of the Shilpi Samiti will take place on October 4.

“I will be participating in the election from Moushumi’s panel. The reason of my participation is to support the actors, working together in improving our film industry,” says Tayeb. The forms for nomination are available for today.

In an addition to this, the actor is the existing President of Shilpi Oikkyojot for the past two years. He has done some notable work while being in charge.

DA Tayeb recently featured in Shahriar Nazim Joy’s upcoming film, Amar Maa.
