Banglalink launches talent hunt “Next Tuber”
Telecommunications company Banglalink has launched its newest initiative, “Banglalink Next Tuber”, to groom and raise the new generation of video content creators of the country. The competition is a 'digital reality show' hunting for talent in video content - a first of its kind in Bangladesh, according to a press release.
From the selection process, grooming and competition, a winner will emerge with the opportunity to become Banglalink's Digital Media Ambassador, train at the Google Singapore HQ and receive prize money. The first and second runners up will also receive cash prize, and the top three will also get the opportunity to produce exclusive content for Banglalink's digital services.
Any Bangladeshi fulfilling the terms and conditions given in the competition website can participate in the contest. One will have to upload a video on YouTube and submit the link of the video's URL as entries for selection at the “Banglalink Next Tuber” website.
The main judges of the competition are famous local YouTube content creators Salman Muqtadir, Raba Khan, Shouvik Ahmed, Asif Bin Azad and Tamim Mridha. Singer Elita Karim and director Adnan Al Rajeev will also be guest judges and groomers. The competition will go on for two months.
