Arson victim dies at DMCH
A private car driver, who was injured in a petrol bomb attack at Moghbazar on Friday, died at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital this afternoon.
Abul Kalam, 26, succumbed to his injuries at the burn unit of the hospital around 12:30pm, DMCH sources said.
Kalam was injured when miscreant hurled a petrol bomb at his car parked at Moghbazar around 11:00pm on the fourth day of the BNP-led 20-party alliance’s nonstop blockade across the country.
He suffered 33 percent burn injuries in his chest, throat, hands and face, said Inspector Muzammel Haque, the in-charge of DMCH police camp.
