Arrest BNP men if involved with 7-murder: MK Anwar
BNP leader MK Anwar today accused the ruling Awami League men of abducting and killing seven people including Narayanganj city panel mayor Nazrul Islam.
Anwar, a standing committee member of the party, also asked the government to arrest his party men if anyone is involved in the gruesome murders.
“Not BNP, rather the ruling party men were behind the incident. Please arrest our party men if anyone is found involved,” Anwar said.
He was speaking at a discussion organised by Shadhinata Forum, a pro-BNP platform, at the Jatiya Press Club.
MK Anwar also urged the government to take immediate measures to arrest the masterminds behind the killing for ensuring their trial.
He said panic is prevailing across the country and the government is responsible for it.
Anwar also asked the government to step down immediately and warned of dire consequence otherwise.
