Istiak Ahmed, 13, son of Motiar Rahman of Gilabaria village in Sadar upazila of Jhenidah, has been suffering from a malignant germ cell tumour in the chest for around a year.

A student of class VIII, he has been brought back home from an Indian cancer research institute recently as his father, who is a human hauler driver, cannot afford his treatment.
