ALCWC to hold emergency meeting Wednesday

The Awami League Central Working Committee (ALCWC), the highest decision-making body of the ruling party, will hold an emergency meeting on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who also heads the AL, will chair the meeting at her official residence Gono Bhaban at 6:00pm.
The country’s latest socio-political and economical situation is expected to come into discussion, said AL insiders. The nomination of women lawmakers of the ruling party is likely to be the other agenda of the meeting, they added.
AL General Secretary Syed Ashraful Islam urged all the ALCWC members to attend the meeting in time.
