Al-Amin cleared

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has cleared Bangladesh pace bowler Al Amin Hossain from suspect bowling action.
“The International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed today (Wednesday)  that the bowling action of Bangladesh fast bowler Al-Amin Hossain had been found to be legal following an independent test, and that the player can, therefore, continue to bowl in international cricket”, read an ICC release.
Al-Amin's action was reported during Bangladesh's tour of the West Indies. He went through a bowling test at an ICC accredited centre in Chennai, India on October 20.
“I am really happy. I always knew that there was nothing wrong with my action. None of my coaches have found anything wrong. I thank everyone for their support and prayers,” Al-Amin told The Daily Star.
The bowler, who is currently on leave to attend his university examinations, is likely to return to Bangladesh's ODI squad against Zimbabwe later this month.
