Abdul Jabbar needs help for treatment

Recently I watched a musical programme on a TV channel where celebrated singer Abdul Jabbar and his son Mithun Jabbar rendered some very beautiful melodious songs. In one segment of the programme, the outstanding singer informs us that he has been diagnosed with kidney problems and for treatment he needs a large sum of money, which he doesn't have. He appealed to the government for financial assistance.
I was shocked and saddened to learn that singer Abdul Jabbar, who is a pride for our country, was seeking financial aid for his treatment. I would sincerely call upon the government to extend all out support to Adul Jabbar so that he gets well soon and continue to sing for us for a long time. May Allah bless him.
