5 hurt in Mouchak bomb blasts
Five people including three policemen were injured when miscreants hurled two crude bombs targeting police in the capital's Mouchak area this evening.
Three of the injured are--Shahidul Islam, 49, a traffic constable, and pedestrians-Mofazzal Hossain, 35, and Shafiqul Islam.
Two unknown miscreants blasted the bombs around 6:15pm. The pedestrians were then passing by the policemen, Mashiure Rahman, officer-in-charge of Ramna Police Station.
Earlier in the morning, miscreants blasted at least five crude bombs in the capital's Moghbazar area ahead of the BNP-led 18-party combine's nonstop blockade beginning tomorrow.
None was reported injured in the blasts.
