5 bombs blasted at Moghbazar
Miscreants blasted at least five crude bombs in the capital's Moghbazar area this morning ahead of the BNP-led 18-party combine's nonstop blockade programme.
None was reported injured in the blasts.
Four to five unknown criminals exploded at least five bombs in front of Agora outlet in Maghbazar around 10:45am and left the place immediately, witnesses said.
Moshiur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Ramna Police Station, confirmed the incident.
The BNP last night announced a nonstop blockade of rail, roads and waterways from New Year's Day to resist the "one-sided January 5 election".
