48 Bangladeshi girls return home from Indian jail
Forty-eight Bangladeshi girls returned home from India on Monday night after languishing in a jail there for two years.
Indian police handed them over to the Bangladeshi immigration police at Benapole check-post.
The victims hailed from different areas of Narail, Satkhira, Bagerhat and Faridpur districts.
Officer in-charge of Benapole Check-post Immigration police Akhtaruzzaman said, the girls went to Mumbai two and a half years ago in search of better jobs.
However, they after Mumbai police arrested them.
