4.6kg gold seized at Dhaka airport

Customs officials seized 40 gold bars weighing 4.6 kilograms at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital today.

The gold bars worth Tk 2.10 crore were found in an abandoned condition inside a toilet at Customs Hall of the airport around 11:45am, said Moinul Khan, director general of the customs intelligence.

No one was arrested in this connection, he said.
