3 die as bus, truck collide in Tangail

At least three people including a child were killed and fifteen injured as a bus and a truck collided in Kalihati upazila of Tangail this afternoon.

The deceased could not be identified immediately, but a police officer said a woman and man were among them.

All the three were travelling by the bus, reports our Tangail correspondent.

The accident took place around 3:15pm in Char Bhabla area on Dhaka-Bangabandhu Bridge link road, leaving three people dead on the spot, said Quamruzzaman Raj, a sub-inspector of Elenga police outpost.

The injured were rushed to Tangail Medical College Hospital for treatment.
