3,740 bullets found in Jamalpur

Police recovered 3,740 bullets hidden underground at a bordering village in Dewanganj upazila of Jamalpur this noon.

Mizanur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Dewanganj Police Station, said the bullets were found when a day labourer was digging the land of one Abdullah Mamun.

The bullets might be kept under the soil many years back as those are covered by rust, the OC said.
