Obituary
Maj Gen (retd) Muzammel Hussain passed away at the CMH in Dhaka due to a cardiac arrest yesterday at the age of 71, says a press release. He was the first commandant of Defence Services Command & Staff College, Mirpur. He was also an ex-Sargodhian and a former ambassador to Sweden, Germany and Malaysia. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, three son-in-laws and three grandchildren. His namaz-e-janaza will be held after Zohr prayers today at New DOHS Mahakhali Jame Masjid. He will be buried at the Army Graveyard at Banani.
