LGRD adviser hailed
Bangladesh Paribesh Andolon (Bapa) yesterday hailed the Local Government and Rural Development (LGRD) Adviser Anwarul Iqbal for taking the project of lifting the water level in the Buriganga by piping in water from the Jamuna and ensure increased water supply to the city dwellers, says a press release. The organisation also demanded immediate implementation of the project and a master plan to make the rivers in and outside the capital free from pollution and encroachment.
