Concern over increase of oil, gas price

Bangladesh Workers Party has expressed its concern over the latest initiative by the caretaker government to increase the price of oil and gas. In a statement yesterday, party President Khandakar Ali Abbas and General Secretary Saiful Haq said this initiative would further increase the plights and sufferings of the common men. They said when people are trying to come in terms with the price hike of essentials, an increase of gas and oil prices would only multiply their miseries. The leaders urged the government to refrain from increasing the price of gas and oil.
