Arms reovered, BNP man held in Natore

Joint forces led by army and police on Monday arrested Saiduzzaman Liton, 36, joint secretary of Gopalpur municipal BNP and Mahbub Alam Liton, 35, a resident of Dhupail area under Lalpur upazila.Police said, the arrested persons were handed over to Lalpur Police station. The forces also recovered a locally made pistol and four rounds of bullets from the residence of Ismail of village Tuni Para under Bagati Para upazila. Abdur Rashid, 45, ex-ward commissioner of Gopalpur Pourasava and Rustam Ali, 40, an upazila BNP leader were also arrested from Upazila Nirbahi Officer's office premises and Lalpur Bazaar on the same day.
