2 indigenous groups trade gunfire

Two indigenous groups yesterday traded gunfire at the border area between Matiranga and Ramgour upazilas of the district leaving one injured critically. The injured was identified as Bipul Barua, a former member of Shanti Bahini, and at present a member of Jana Sanghati Samity, police said. He was sent to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital in a critical condition. Police could not give any other details.
