Felling of trees condemned
Save the Environment Movement yesterday condemned the incident of felling about 15 trees at Dhanmondi in the city, says a press release. They said though afforestation has become a social movement, a vested quarter continues to fell trees, which is a threat for the environment. They demanded proper investigation of the incident and exemplary punishment to the culprits.
