Asian Film Mela begins today
The third Asian Film Mela organised by Dhaka Film Society (DFS) will be inaugurated today at 5:00pm, says a press release. Twenty eight recent films from 16 Asian countries will be screened in the 10-day-long Mela.Prominent filmmaker Morshedul Islam will inaugurate the programme. Three films will be screened everyday during the Mela at 2:30pm, 4:30pm and 6:30pm. A seminar on Asian Films: Recent Trends will be held on December 23 at 5:00pm. Film society activist Manzare Haseen Murad, Mahmudul Hossain, Zakir Hossain Raju and Sabbir Chowdhury are the panel discussants.
