Premier of Bokul Phooler Mala on Channel i today

Delwar Jahan Jhantu's romantic film Bokul Phooler Mala will be premiered today on Channel i at 2:40 pm and will be released simultaneously at Balaka movie theatre. Riaz, Tanzika, Wasim, Anwar Hossain and Probir Mitra among others feature in the film.The film focuses the principle of love and the exploitation of the poor by the village head (Matbor). As seen in numerous Bengali films, the greedy headman grabs the properties of the poor. However, his daughter Mala and her lover Bokul pose threat to his establishment by working to conscientise the rural people. The headman is enraged by their acts. The film develops through this conflict of two opposing principles. Impress Telefilm Ltd has produced Bokul Phooler Mala.
