Cambiasso extends with Inter

Argentina international Esteban Cambiasso agreed Monday a two-year extension with Inter Milan that will keep him at the Serie A club until 2010. The 26-year-old midfielder joined Inter from Spanish giants Real Madrid in 2004. Last season he scored five goals in 34 Serie A appearances. Cambiasso had his penalty kick saved in the shoot-out against Germany in this year's World Cup quarter-finals, which resulted in Argentina's exit from the competition. Currently on tour in Portugal, Inter finished third in Serie A last season but were awarded the title after Juventus and AC Milan were found guilty of match-fixing.
