Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia handed over the prestigious award to Principal Noni Gupal Roy of the college at a function held in the capital recently.

Roy planted different herbal, aromatic, timber and fruit bearing trees on the college campus. He also created a garden of rare Agor plants which created a great enthusiasm among the people. Collection of different plants is also another attraction at the college.

In recognition to Roy's achievement in tree plantation, the Forest Department has selected Moulvibazar Government College for the award.
