Sit-in tomorrow in Khulna for landing station

The greater Khulna Development Action Coordination Committee ( GKDACC) will submit a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner today and stage a sit-in at Picture Palace intersection in the city tomorrow to protest depriving Khulna of a submarine cable landing station.

The decisions were announced by GKDACC at a press conference yesterday. Addressing the press conference, secretary general of GKDACC Shaikh Ashrafuzzaman said there is prospect of earning a huge amount of revenue by installing a landing station in Khulna but the government is ignoring this.
