Indian artistes to perform dance
Indian renowned artistes Padmasree Madhavi Mudgal and Padmasree Alarmel Valli will perform dance at the Shilpakala Academy on June 8, 9 and 10, says a press release.

'Shadhona, a Centre for Advancement of South Asian Music and Dance' will organise the events.

Madhavi Mudgal will present Odissi on June 8, Alarmel Valli will perform Bharatnatyam on June 9 and the two artistes together present 'Samanvaya', a choreographic presentation, which combines the rich forms of Odissi and Bharatnatyam, on June 10.

The artistes will be accompanied by several finest musicians in North and South India. Gautam Bhattacharya has designed the lighting of the performances, while the music by Madhup Mudgal and Prema Ramamoorthy.

The two artistes have just completed a month-long tour of Europe with 'Samanvaya'. Entry cards will be available at the auditorium gate, Jatra at 60 Kamal Ataturk Road, Aarong at Dhanmondi and Gulshan and Pathak Samabesh at Aziz Supermarket.
