'Unite to topple govt'
Proshika President and ADAB Chairperson Dr Qazi Faruque Ahmed has called for unity of the pro-liberation forces to fight back the alliance government and to establish an exploitation free prosperous Bangladesh attuned to the ideals and spirit of the war of liberation, says a press release.He was addressing a reception accorded to him under the auspices of Khulna Nagorik Committee on Saturday. Held at the Hadis park, the reception was presided over by Principal Wahidur Rahman and was addressed by wife of Qazi Faruque Shahana Ahmed, Advocate Firoj Ahmed, Khulna City Corporation Ward Commissioners Memory Sufia Rahman, Amena Halim Baby and Sheikh Abul Kashem, freedom fighter Sheikh Abdul Barakat, Dr Purnendu Gain and Nur Mohammad Moral and Kazi Wahiduzzaman. Criticising the present government, Qazi Faruque called for bringing down fall of the government to save democracy, values of liberation war and ensure good governance. He said due to misrules and corruption of the government, the country has reached the point of total ruination.
