WC book unveiled

With only four days to go before the kick-off of the FIFA World Cup, the Bangladesh sports fraternity was gripped by the fever of the greatest show on earth.On the eve of the world's biggest sporting extravaganza, Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) arranged a seminar titled "World Cup Football 2006: Perspective Bangladesh" while NCC Bank unveiled a cover of handbook titled 'Glimpses of World Cup' yesterday. Organisers, former footballers and sports journalists took part in the DRU discussion where they called vehemently for a long-term policy to bring back the enthusiasm about the game in the country. Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) president SA Sultan attended both the functions as chief guest.
