Meeting works out sedition case details

Top officials of police, Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) and different intelligence agencies held a prolonged meeting at the police headquarters last night to finalise filing of sedation case against the top Islamist militant leaders.Meeting sources said the officials discussed elaborately the ways and means of filing the sedation cases at the four-hour-long meeting starting at around 7:30pm. The meeting was held a day after State Minister for Home Affairs Lutfozzaman Babar said sedation cases will be filed against the kingpins of Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) in a couple of days. Sources said top officials of the law enforcement and intelligence agencies also discussed the arrest of absconding JMB Majlish-e-Shura members Salehuddin alias Salahuddin and Khaled Saifullah and other leaders. They discussed the next course of action to recover explosives JMB activists have kept hidden.
